We are delighted to offer two writing workshops with Dr Roshni Beeharry, and these will provide a space for you to think about writing on a deeper level and to connect with others who write.

Writing Workshops with Dr Roshni Beeharry

Workshop 1: ‘My Storied Self: A writing for wellbeing and personal development workshop’ – over 18s only

Saturday 3rd August, 11a.m., 2 hours

In this two hour generative workshop, Dr Roshni Beeharry (www.storiedselves.com), will introduce the concepts of writing for wellbeing (also known as therapeutic writing), and guide you through several writing prompts including the use of poetry, prose, images and other media, as well as the gallery space and artworks themselves, in order, to invite you to explore themes including identity and sense of self, in keeping with the project theme, ‘Free to be me.’ No specialist experience of writing is needed, just a notebook, pen and spirit of curiosity and participation!
